Interesting books I've read

Reading is extremely fascinating. After all, thanks to reading, we can greatly stimulate our creativity and vocabulary, expand our knowledge, reduce stress, increase our ability to memorize and develop our concentration. It also helps us to see the world completely differently.

Unfortunately, due to the internet, many people spend more time on social networks, trivial websites and other things that do not stimulate our minds at all. With that in mind, I've put together at least 4 books I've read and still reading that will surely stimulate your mind substantially...

1 # No More Mr. Nice Guy - Donald Glover

Are you a person who can't say no? Do you put women on a pedestal? Do you try to please everyone? Then this book is for you. Although this book is written especially for men, it is also ideal for women because it helps them understand why men should act in a way, even if they don't agree with it at first. This book will help you see why the behavior of the questions described above is harmful and how you can change them...

# 2 The Smartest Man In History - Augusto Cury

The author of this book is Augusto Cury. Need to say more? This man is the most read author of the last decade. His books are published in over 70 countries, and he has sold over 30 million books in Brazil alone. His work described above is not left behind. It analyzes Christ's account not by his IQ (intelligence quotient) but by his EQ (emotional quotient), showing how Marco Polo, an atheistic psychologist, delves into the Book of Luke to discover the charms of Jesus mind, personality and how he managed his emotional landslide. Certainly, a book you will not regret reading...

# 3 The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck - Mark Manson

Easy, easy. Do not judge the book by its cover, or in this case by its theme. This book is, by far, the most interesting I have ever read (my personal opinion, of course). In this book, Mark Manson, its author, helps us see life as it really is: A whirlwind of problems, anxieties, and other unpleasant situations. However, you will learn to simply accept life's most unpleasant truths and have a positive attitude despite problems.

Here are just some of the interesting phrases in this book:

- "Desiring Positive Feelings is a negative feeling; accepting negative feelings is a positive feeling"

- "Making decisions based only on what your heart tells you, without the help of reason to stay in line, is asking to give shit"

- "To measure the true value of a person, the important thing is not to evaluate how he sees the positive experiences, but the negative ones"

- "If you want to change your view of problems, you need to change your values and / or your way of measuring failure and success."

- "Pleasure is not a cause for happiness: it is its effect. If you hit the rest (other values and parameters) pleasure will come naturally as a consequence."

I challenge you to read at least the first 3 pages of this book. You'll certainly won't end there...

# 4 - Emotional Intelligence - Daniel Goleman

Brother, this book here is really cool. It helped me realize the importance of worrying about my emotional intelligence, not just rational intelligence, as the educational system is structured. I haven't finished my reading yet, but so far my journey in this book has been more than exciting.

So? Which of these books do you want to read first? If you need them, ask me and I'll send it through Whatsapp, email or as you prefer.

See you later and good reading.
